SMALL GROUP CLASSES
We are passionate about ensuring that every child stays safe in the water! Our engaging lessons focus on teaching essential skills like grabbing the wall and back floating, all while making sure the learning process is incredibly enjoyable. We understand that each child is unique and learns at their own pace. That’s why we pride ourselves in having a maximum of 3 children per instructor, and tailor our approach to challenge and support every individual, ultimately helping them progress to the next level of swimming proficiency. Our lessons go beyond just water safety – they’re about creating lasting memories and having a blast! With our creative use of songs and toys, your child will have a fantastic time while learning valuable skills. Don’t hesitate any longer! Makeup Policy: To receive a makeup token, notice must be received before the start of the lesson. Each class enrollment is eligible for 2 makeup tokens per month.
Class Levels
LEVEL 2
Minimum Age: 2 years
Working on: Breath control with face in the water & eyes looking down; Kicking on barbells/intro to nemos (side breathing); Establishing a productive kick to move through the water; Independent safety jumps from the platform and the wall; Working on back floating.
Needed to level up: Good kicks on top of the water; Come off the platform with face in the water; Independent platform safety jumps; Back Floating for at least 10 seconds; Independent Safety jump from the wall.
LEVEL 3
Minimum Age: 2 years
Working on:Glides/Streamline; Improving kicks and nemos (side breathing); Reinforcing safety skills from level 2; Big arms; Independent flip flops; Getting rings from the bottom of the pool.
Needed to level up: Big arms- all the way out of the water consistently; Consistent, Confident Flip Flops (one pool length)..
LEVEL 4
Minimum Age: 3 years
Working on: Glides with streamline; Barbells with perfect nemos; Standing dives; Side breathing; 4 big arms with a side breath; Backstroke kicks; Backstroke arms.
Needed to level up: Independent standing dives; 4 big arms with side breathing (half the pool); Independent backstroke kicks (half the pool); Independent backstroke (half the pool).
LEVEL 5
Minimum Age: 4 years
Working on: Intro to kicking on a kick board; Improving on freestyle; Improving on backstroke; Improving on standing dives.
Needed to level up: Efficient freestyle (one pool length); Efficient backstroke kick (one pool length); Efficient backstroke (one pool length); Getting rings from 4 feet independently.
LEVEL 6
Minimum Age: 5 years
Working on: Kicking on kickboard with proper and productive kicks; Intro to racing dives; Freestyle with dive starts; Improving backstroke kicks (streamline if ready); Perfecting freestyle and backstroke; Breaststroke.
Needed to level up: Strong freestyle (1 lap); Strong backstroke kick (1 lap); Strong backstroke (1 lap); Efficient breaststroke kick; Foundation of breaststroke.
LEVEL 7
Minimum Age: 6 years
Working on: Breaststroke with breathing, intro to fly, intro to turns & pullouts,racing dives.
Needed to level up: Perfect free & fly, strong breaststroke, fly kick and arms, concept of turns and pull outs, strong racing dive).
